Idris Elba’s 93-Minute Survival Thriller Unleashes Beast Mode on Streaming

Beast, a 93-minute survival thriller starring Idris Elba, arrives on Netflix on April 7. Elba plays a father who must fight a lion to protect his daughters during a safari in South Africa. The film was directed by Icelandic filmmaker Baltasar Kormákur. Released in August 2022, Beast grossed $59 million worldwide against a $36 million budget and holds a 68% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
