ILM animator debunks fake image of Rotta the Hutt

A new image purporting to show The Mandalorian and Grogu has been circulating online, and Industrial Light & Magic animation director Hal Hickel took to social media to debunk it.

It depicts Rotta the Hutt — who will be played by Jeremy Allen White in the film — brandishing two weapons, and the render looks convincing.

Hickel dismissed the picture as "a total fake."
