Ciro Immobile left Italy in January to begin his fourth spell abroad, having previously played for Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Besiktas. He had returned to Bologna before moving mid-season to strengthen the attack of newly promoted Paris FC. On Sunday 22 March he scored his first goal for Paris FC, opening the scoring in the 29th minute of the win over Le Havre in a head-to-head relegation battle.

It was his eighth appearance for the club and his fifth start across Ligue 1 and the French Cup. Promoted last season, Paris FC intends to establish itself in the top flight, backed by significant financial resources and a long-term project. Antoine Kombouaré, who replaced promotion hero Stéphane Gilli, took charge in February.
