How to increase Environment Level in Pokémon Pokopia
The Environment Level in Pokémon Pokopia reflects how comfortable the Pokémon in a region are. Comfort matters more than terrain alone: Oddish, for example, prefers no barren soil, and bringing new Pokémon into an area often raises the Environment Level because it appears to be based on a total rather than an average.
Changes don’t always register immediately. Improvements such as furnishing a house, convincing a Pokémon to move in, and speaking with them after they settle can take time to affect the meter, and removing decorations or otherwise lowering comfort can make the level fall.
Expect fluctuations while habitats stabilize. To raise Environment Level, create more habitats and improve the livelihood of the Pokémon you already have. You can ask a Pokémon about its comfort once per day for a vague hint, and pressing Minus at the PC shows a satisfaction breakdown from “awesome” to “iffy.” Bumping a Pokémon up a comfort tier tends to have a noticeable effect, so prioritize those who need help and avoid leaving any without a home.
