Influencer Nancy Grewal stabbed to death at 45

LaSalle Police Service in Ontario said emergency services responded to a report of a stabbing shortly before 9:30 p.m. on March 3. The victim was identified as Nancy Grewal, 45, who was taken to hospital and later succumbed to her injuries; police confirmed the death as a homicide and said the investigation is active.

Grewal’s sister, Alishaa Grewal, posted a tribute on Instagram, writing, "With a very heavy heart I share that my beloved sister Nancy Grewal has passed away on 3 March 2026," and adding, "I lost my sister, my strength, my forever friend." Alishaa told CityNews Toronto she believes the killing was "pre-planned," suggesting it may have been motivated by Grewal’s social media videos and calling it "revenge." A content creator, Grewal posted lifestyle material and commentary on Indian and Canadian politics.

She had more than 13,000 Instagram followers and over 9,000 on YouTube, and her last Instagram post was on Feb. 26.
