Inter are planning a summer overhaul that includes a tactical shift away from the 3-5-2, aiming to add a more physical midfield and greater unpredictability in the attacking midfield.

Fabrizio Romano has noted Inter's interest in midfielder Andrey Santos. The club has held several meetings with Giuliano Bertolucci and Kia Joorabchian — intermediaries linked to the 2004‑born player who rose through Vasco da Gama — but no move followed when Chelsea, having brought him back from Strasbourg, viewed him as a first-team prospect.

Chelsea even turned down a €50 million offer from Saudi Arabia, yet their approach to Santos later shifted and he has started only 13 matches across the Premier League and Champions League.

Inter remain keen and could push for him this summer if the right conditions are met; the management at Viale della Liberazione continue to monitor him, although he is not the only name on their list for that position.
