An Arizona news outlet said it received a new message in the Nancy Guthrie case. KOLD 13 News in Tucson did not provide further details, and the Pima County Sheriff’s Office said the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department are aware of the new message and are actively inspecting the information for its authenticity.

The agencies urged anyone with tips to call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI. Investigators have returned to Guthrie’s Tucson home. Detectives continue follow-up at the house and in the surrounding neighborhood, and the roadway in front of the home is restricted to provide investigators the space needed to complete their work.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to Guthrie’s recovery or to the arrest and conviction of anyone involved. Nancy Guthrie, 84, was reported missing Sunday, Feb. 1, after she failed to attend church services. Sheriff Chris Nanos has said investigators believe she was abducted in her sleep, and a trail of blood confirmed to be Nancy’s was seen outside her front door.
