Invincible VS adds Allen the Alien, open beta set for April 9–11

Developer Quarter Up and publisher Skybound Games announced an open beta for Invincible VS running April 9–11 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X; PC players are not included. The beta gives players an early look at the tag-team fighter before the full release.

Ten of the 18 launch fighters will be available in the beta, including franchise mainstays Invincible, Atom Eve, and Omni-Man. The original character Ella-Mental, revealed at The Game Awards last year, won’t appear in the beta; her moveset is built around elemental abilities, though she still punches opponents.

Allen the Alien will join the beta roster. Voiced by Seth Rogen in the Amazon Prime show, Allen is a friend of Mark’s who eventually grows powerful enough to go toe-to-toe with Viltrumites.

The beta begins at 1 p.m. eastern on April 9 and ends at midnight on April 11. The full game launches April 30 for PS5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X, and a Year 1 Character Pass will add four more fighters, with the first two arriving in June.
