Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro may move its front-facing camera to a small punch-hole cutout in the top-left corner of the display, a break from the centered Dynamic Island design, according to a growing pile of leaks.

As first reported by The Information, Apple is expected to introduce under-display Face ID on the iPhone 18 Pro models, allowing the TrueDepth sensors to sit beneath the screen so only the selfie camera would remain visible. The leak suggests the selfie camera could be tucked where the clock currently sits, and earlier reporting cites leaker Digital Chat Station saying only Pro models would get the new under-display cutout while standard iPhone 18 models would keep the existing Dynamic Island.

Some outlets add that the Dynamic Island itself may shift to follow the camera. In a video from Jon Prosser the Dynamic Island appears moved to the top-left and expands for Live Activities, calls, or navigation. If the rumors hold, the most visible change may be the selfie camera’s repositioning; we’ll likely find out which rumor is accurate when Apple officially unveils the iPhone 18 Pro later this year.
