Iron Galaxy denies it's working on a Fallout remaster

Update; 3/3/2026, 2:45 p.m. ET: Developer Iron Galaxy has denied the rumors that it’s working on a Fallout remaster in a new post on Bluesky. Quoting a PC Gamer post about the rumors, Iron Galaxy said, “Nope! There is nothing to see here.” The studio added the image was just a behind-the-scenes look at a company meeting, that it uses the slide every month and that it has nothing to do with any Fallout work.

Earlier this week, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 remasterers Iron Galaxy posted to LinkedIn a photo showing two monitors, each displaying a Fallout “PLEASE STAND BY” screen. The same image also appeared on the company’s BlueSky account and went largely unnoticed for several days.

The left monitor shows the distinctive “PLEASE STAND BY” message, while the right monitor makes clear the image was part of an upcoming presentation for Iron Galaxy — slide 1 of 72. That detail helped fuel speculation that the studio might be preparing a remaster of either Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas.
