Iron Galaxy teases New Vegas remaster with familiar loading screen
Iron Galaxy posted a note about its February company meeting that included an image many Fallout fans immediately recognised: the Fallout: New Vegas loading screen.
That visual alone doesn’t prove a remaster is in the works. It could be a desktop wallpaper or a waiting-for-participants slide — observers pointed out the image was slide 1 of 72 on the right-hand monitor — so the post is far from definitive.
The studio’s recent résumé includes Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 and numerous ports such as Fallout 76 and the VR versions of Skyrim and Fallout 4, which makes it plausible Iron Galaxy could handle a New Vegas remaster. Interest in such a release is strong, and last year’s Oblivion remaster showed there is money to be made from these projects.
There have been false starts before — a Steam glitch and an ill-advised Fallout TV show countdown — and some think Bethesda might prioritise Fallout 3 first. The company post is suggestive, but it stops short of confirmation.
