Jack Ryan’s Teaser and Release Date Contrast with Reacher Season 4 Delays

Prime Video dropped the first teaser for Jack Ryan: Ghost War, showing Wendell Pierce’s Greer nearly blown up by a radicalized military group and turning to a retired Jack Ryan for help. Jack, living with Cathy and out of the game after Season 4, initially refuses—“Whatever it is, I’m not doing it”—but the trailer quickly moves into explosions, high-speed chases and Jack getting pulled back in.

Jack Ryan: Ghost War, described as the first full Jack Ryan movie since 2002’s The Sum of All Fears, arrives on Prime Video globally on May 20, 2026. The trailer signals an R rating. John Krasinski returns alongside Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly, with Sienna Miller, Betty Gabriel, Max Beesley, Douglas Hodge and JJ Feild joining the cast.

Andrew Bernstein directs from a script by Aaron Rabin and Krasinski, and the film runs about 105 minutes. Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan ran for four seasons and ended with Jack exposing CIA corruption, reuniting with Cathy, and walking away.
