Jack Schlossberg calls Ryan Murphy's 'Love Story' 'grotesque'
Jack Schlossberg once again blasted Ryan Murphy’s Hulu series "Love Story," which portrays the romance between the late John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette. Schlossberg, Kennedy’s nephew, called the show "grotesque" in an interview on "CBS Sunday Morning," saying, "If you want to know someone who’s never met anyone in my family, knows nothing about us, talk to Ryan Murphy." He accused Murphy of profiting from the depiction and criticized the producer for not consulting the family.
In a July 2025 Instagram post Schlossberg wrote, "You’re making millions off John, making a public spectacle of it but won’t contribute any of your riches to the causes he championed, or the legacy of public service he represented." He also recalled early memories of his uncle—"John calling me Jackolatern and ‘the nudist,’ picking me up from school, his Pontiac convertible"—and said, "I remember being the ring bearer at his wedding and the day he died.
