Polygon reports Jackie Chan Adventures recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, marking the series' original premiere in September 2000, and is currently available to stream for free on Tubi.

The animated action series centers on a fictionalized Jackie Chan, his niece Jade, and an eccentric Uncle as they travel the world battling ancient evils and recovering the 12 talismans tied to the Chinese zodiac. The talismans include the Ox (superhuman strength), the Rabbit (incredible speed), and the Rooster (telekinesis). The show blends martial arts, fantasy, and comedy, uses inventive fight choreography, and followed a "freak of the week" format while carrying a series-long narrative; the fictionalized Chan also has ties to a secret government organization called Section 13.

Chan did not voice his own character; voice double James Sie performed the role, and the cast also included Clancy Brown as Captain Augustus Black, Noah Nelson as Tohru, and Adam Baldwin as Finn. Tohru and Finn began as henchmen for Valmont, who served the fire demon Shendu (imprisoned within a dragon statue), and Tohru later shifted from enforcer to Uncle's apprentice and ally. Decades later, the series continues to carry goodwill with the generation that grew up on it and remains available to stream on Tubi.
