The 2010 Karate Kid, starring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith, has reappeared on streaming charts, landing at No. 6 on Netflix's Top 10 Movies over the weekend, positioned between Trolls Band Together and Despicable Me 4. The film is available to stream on Apple TV.

Released theatrically in 2010, the movie grossed $359 million worldwide and holds a 67% score on Rotten Tomatoes. It has received several awards recognitions, including a People's Choice nomination for Favorite Family Film, wins at the Kids' Choice Awards for Favorite Movie and Favorite Buttkicker, and a Teen Choice nomination for Choice Summer: Movie.

In the story, Dre Parker, played by Jaden Smith, becomes Mr. Han's first student and trains in kung fu for a tournament; Dre's victory earns respect from the rival Fighting Dragon school. The picture served as the franchise's fifth installment and was originally intended as a modern remake of the 1984 original.
