Before turning to prestige awards contenders and icy modern thrillers like The Social Network and Gone Girl, David Fincher made one of the most meticulous crime films of the 2000s: Zodiac. Eighteen years after its 2007 release, Zodiac is currently streaming free on Fawesome.

The film follows the investigation into the infamous Zodiac Killer, the still-unsolved case that haunted Northern California in the late 1960s and 1970s. Fincher’s work earned strong reviews, sits at 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, and brought in about $84.7 million worldwide.

Jake Gyllenhaal leads as Robert Graysmith, alongside Mark Ruffalo as Inspector Dave Toschi, Robert Downey Jr. as Paul Avery and Anthony Edwards as Inspector Bill Armstrong. The cast also includes Chloë Sevigny, John Carroll Lynch, Brian Cox, Elias Koteas, Donal Logue and Dermot Mulroney.
