Jamie Campbell Bower Reflects on Emotional ‘Stranger Things’ Farewell
At Awesome Con, during a panel moderated by Maggie Lovitt, Jamie Campbell Bower spoke about wrapping the series and how the finality of Season 5 landed harder than he expected. He said, “It was emotional. You know, you can’t help but kind of feel, you know, when it ends.”
Bower described how the close of production felt as much physical as emotional. “The last day is always abrupt.” He added, “Seeing them take the sets down, seeing them in the dumpsters — that’s very hard for me.”
Being with the rest of the cast during the final season made the moment hit even harder. “It was nice to be with everybody in the last season because we were all going through it.” He also reflected on having spent much of Season 4 stalking from the shadows with Vecna’s big, creepy fingers.
For Bower, the show was more than a job — it became a huge part of his life and of the audience’s relationship with the final stretch of Stranger Things. The series is streaming now on Netflix.
