Jamie Campbell Bower: Vecna and Will Still Have Unfinished Business

Even with the show now over, fans still have questions about the link between Henry Creel and Will Byers, and Jamie Campbell Bower said he feels the same. During an appearance at Awesome Con on a panel moderated by Maggie Lovitt, Bower was asked whether things might have been different if Henry had a stronger support system like Will did.

He suggested more was going on beneath the surface: “I think it’s really interesting, that some of them, I think if we had seen that scene in Season 5 and knowing the ending of The First Shadow, and now we could challenge the antithesis between accepting this entity and this [thing] inside of him and keeping his power necessary to help us, it did reach back and definitely create a conundrum within him.” Bower also teased that Will might have had growing power over time: “There’s a potential that Will had powers and was stronger as more time went along.
