Expend4bles, the 103-minute fourth entry in the Expendables series, recently premiered on Netflix in America and quickly rose to No. 1 on the U.S. streaming charts. The film’s streaming popularity comes after a rocky box office run: it grossed less than $40 million worldwide against a $100 million budget, a steep drop from the original Expendables’ nearly $275 million on an $80 million budget.

Jason Statham has kept a steady output of action films, appearing in one a year and expanding to two in 2026 with Shelter and Mutiny. Shelter, directed by Ric Roman Waugh and co-starring Naomi Ackie, is winding down its theatrical run after a disappointing box office performance.

Mutiny, directed by Jean-François Richet and co-starring Annabelle Wallis, is set to arrive in theaters this August. Looking ahead, Statham will return next January in The Beekeeper 2, now directed by Timo Tjahjanto and also featuring Pom Klementieff and Adam Copeland.
