Jason Statham’s hot streak has taken a hit with Shelter, which is struggling at the box office despite earning mostly positive reviews. The film has not recovered its reported $50 million budget theatrically and now looks likely to fall short of Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, the star’s lowest-grossing film of the decade.

Director Ric Roman Waugh is facing a second underperformer in a month after Greenland 2: The Migration grossed only around $20 million worldwide against a reported $90 million budget. Greenland 2’s rollout was largely digital outside North America, while Shelter received a proper theatrical release.
