Jason Statham’s The Beekeeper Leaving Free Streaming on March 1

The Beekeeper, starring Jason Statham as ex-government assassin Adam Clay, will leave free streaming service Tubi on March 1 after a short run on the platform.

In the film, Clay seeks vengeance after his landlady, played by Phylicia Rashad, falls for a phishing scheme that not only takes her savings but also costs her life.

The Beekeeper earned a box office haul of $162.6 million against a $40 million production budget and quickly spawned a sequel. Director David Ayer did not return for the follow-up; Headshot helmer Timo Tjahjanto is directing the next installment, which is scheduled for release on January 15, 2027.

The original film was released January 12, 2024, and has a runtime of 105 minutes.
