Jenelle Evans' son allegedly pulled gun on grandmother

Jenelle Evans’ eldest son, Jace, was placed in a mental health facility after allegedly pulling a gun on his grandmother and threatening to kill himself and Barbara Evans while under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Barbara called police and plans to file legal paperwork to assist with handling him.

Police answered a “troubled teen disturbance” call at Barbara’s home on Feb. 22, with seven officers responding to the property where the teenager has been living. It is unclear how long he will undergo care, but family members say their focus is on his health and stability.

A representative for Jenelle said, “At this time, we respectfully ask for privacy for the family and Jenelle Evans. This is a personal matter, and space and understanding are appreciated as they focus on their well-being and time together. Thank you for respecting their privacy during this time.” Evans rose to fame on MTV’s “16 and Pregnant” after conceiving Jace as a high school senior.
