Jennifer Hudson is back for The Voice: Battle of Champions, joining Season 29 as an Alumni Coach for the Battles round. The season’s red chair panel also features Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine and John Legend, with several Voice all‑stars and former coaches returning for the competition.

Hudson’s Voice résumé spans the U.K. and U.S. editions. She first served as a coach on The Voice UK in 2017, guiding artists across Seasons 6 to 8, and later joined the U.S. show for Season 13 alongside Miley Cyrus, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. She returned to the red chair for Season 15 and served as a Mega Mentor in Season 26, working with coaches Michael Bublé and Reba McEntire.

While Hudson has not recorded a coach victory in the U.S. series, she did win Season 6 of The Voice: UK with Mo Jamil Adeniran. She also helped Season 15 finalist Kennedy Holmes reach the Live Shows, where Holmes finished fourth.
