Huang: 'Everything is scarce is fantastic for us'
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang sat down for a discussion at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecom Conference and covered the company’s role in gaming before turning to AI and data‑center work. “I love constraints. And the reason for that is because in a world of constraint, you have no choice but to choose the best,” Huang said, adding that when land, power and shell are limited customers will not “randomly put something in there just to try it out.” He argued operators will select systems that deliver the best tokens per watt and that Nvidia can “help you stand up an entire AI factory.” Huang described how the company uses capital to secure the supply chain: “I've got all the memories, I've got all the wafers, I got all the CoWoS.
I've got all the packaging, I've got all the systems, I've got all the connectors, I got all the cables,” and said a strong balance sheet is strategic. The piece notes Nvidia was valued at $4.48 trillion at the time of writing.
