Jessi Ngatikaura says $25K surgery 'ruined my life'

Jessi Ngatikaura says she feels "really insecure" over the results of a $25,000 plastic surgery procedure. "I’ve really been struggling. I genuinely feel like this last surgery ruined my life," the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star said in a TikTok video Thursday.

She called herself "extremely unhappy with the results" and blamed the surgery for derailing her career, saying "I don’t feel comfortable taking opportunities, but I have to." Ngatikaura, who revealed the total cost via Instagram last month, asked trolls to stop commenting on her appearance even as she acknowledged the criticism.

Ngatikaura said she originally planned only a lower blepharoplasty but was advised to add an upper blepharoplasty and fat grafting. "I did not want fat grafting, to be honest," she admitted, saying she "just kind of listened to a suggestion" and later wished she had asked more questions.
