A brawl broke out on a Jet2 flight from Antalya, Turkey, to Manchester, forcing the pilot to land in Brussels and resulting in the removal of two passengers. Videos shared on social media captured multiple people crowding into the aisle as punches were thrown. Jet2 described the incident as "the appalling behavior of two disruptive passengers" and said the pair have been banned for life.

The airline said it will pursue recovery of the costs it incurred and reiterated a zero-tolerance approach, apologizing to customers and crew who experienced the disturbance. The carrier has taken similar actions before: in 2022 it billed two brothers £50,000 and imposed lifetime bans after a violent diversion, and in 2017 a couple was banned following a physical disagreement that forced a diversion.

Air rage rose after the pandemic, with the Federal Aviation Administration seeing a 400 percent increase in midair outbursts from 2019 to 2025.
