JoAnna Garcia Swisher's Happy's Place Episode Includes Reba Nods

JoAnna Garcia Swisher's guest turn on Happy's Place packs a few clever Reba Easter eggs for longtime viewers. Melissa Peterman, who plays Gabby the bartender opposite Reba McEntire's tavern owner Bobbie, called Swisher's appearance "very funny" and teased a line that "if you know, you know." Peterman added, "The audience will laugh very hard because it's a little homage to the first show," and said, "It landed," calling that "gratifying to see." Swisher appears in Season 2, Episode 12 ("Social Discontent") as Kenzie, "a local Knoxville influencer" brought in to work with the tavern on a social media campaign — much to Bobbie's chagrin.
