John Legend's Daughter Told Him 'Good Boy' on The Voice
On The Voice: Battle of Champions, coaches John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine were evenly matched, and Legend had a secret weapon in the audience: his children Luna and Miles. Team Legend's AJ Robinson, 14, performed with braces and a cowboy hat and was described as 'so cute.' Legend ultimately chose Lucas West as the winner of that Battle after the two sang 'Wanted' by Hunter Hayes.
In the final Battle, Alexia Jayy faced Moses G. singing The Commodores' 'Nightshift.' Adam Levine tried to avoid choosing but picked Jayy, which initially looked like the end for Moses G. Legend then used a Steal to bring Moses G. onto his team, and the camera caught Luna and Miles jumping for joy.
After the Steal, Luna told her dad 'Good boy!' and gave him a 'pat pat' on the top of his head, prompting Kelly Clarkson to laugh. Legend smiled and asked, 'Pat on the back? I made you happy?' as Miles climbed onto the red chair.
Validation from your daughter's gotta feel almost as good as notching another win on The Voice.
