It only took 16 years, but Rob Wiethoff, the man behind John Marston, finished a play-through of Red Dead Redemption, completing the main story this week. He posted the concluding part of his series on March 2, laughing through the climactic gunfight between Jack and Ross before the stylish closing title card.

"Oh my goodness," Wiethoff exclaims as he ogles the credits. The American melancholia of "Deadman's Gun" helps make the moment overwhelming, and Wiethoff grows emotional seeing everyone listed. John Marston is his biggest role and what defined his career; after years trying to break into Hollywood, he was chosen as the voice for John in Red Dead Redemption.

One hit game led to DLC, the incredible Undead Nightmare, then an expanded part in the prequel, Red Dead Redemption 2. As the credits roll he says, "I don't know how long this takes, to go through this," and adds that he "definitely want this to be part of a stream that I'm doing.
