Jon Bernthal Debuts as the Punisher in Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer

Jon Bernthal appears as Frank Castle, the Punisher, in the new Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer, marking the character's first theatrical appearance since 2008's Punisher: War Zone, which starred Ray Stevenson. The role will be Bernthal's fifth MCU credit and includes a Disney+ Special Presentation slated for 2026.

The trailer sets up a clash of approaches: Castle's brutal, heavily armed methods against Peter Parker's earnest, hopeful crimefighting.
