Jon Hamm, who voices Mayor Jerry Generazzo in Pixar’s Hoppers, described the film’s premise as a comedy-adventure in which a 19-year-old animal-lover named Mabel borrows technology to “hop” into the body of a robotic beaver and infiltrate the animal kingdom, where Mayor Jerry is taken hostage by a group of animals.

Hamm said he’s looking forward to seeing the film with a full audience. When asked about Pixar favorites, he singled out Ratatouille as a top pick and praised WALL‑E for telling its story largely without dialogue. He added that Toy Story reduces him to “a weeping mess” so often that flight attendants have become worried when he watches it on planes.

Hamm also talked about the animation process, noting that animators use actors’ recorded performances as guides for characters’ facial expressions and physicality.
