Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 episode 11 exposes tragic irony of the Culling Game
Episode 11 of season 3 cements Megumi Fushiguro’s status as a brilliant battle strategist while underscoring the ironic cruelty of Kenjaku’s Culling Game. The strongest sorcerers find their power hollow inside a system designed to kill or break them, and the series frames strength less as mastery of technique and more as survival inside a rigged ritual.
Megumi activates his incomplete domain, Chimera Shadow Garden, in a school gymnasium and exploits a loophole in Reggie Star’s anti-domain technique, Hollow Wicker Basket. Because Megumi’s domain lacks a barrier, he uses the closed gym as a physical enclosure, lures Reggie in, and overwhelms him with shadow clones.
The fight ends with Divine Dog: Totality after Reggie’s countermeasures fail; his final confession—that he was only a spectator in the Culling Game—leaves Megumi’s victory feeling empty. The episode widens the stakes.
