Juventus have sent scouts to the Mapei Stadium to watch Ismael Koné, signalling genuine interest as they look to strengthen midfield ahead of the summer transfer window. Luciano Spalletti’s demands are driving the need for new signings.

The 23-year-old Sassuolo midfielder has emerged as one of the season’s most complete players: 27 appearances, five goals and more than 2,100 minutes, with the technical quality and dynamism to occupy multiple roles. His profile is expected to rise further at the World Cup, where he will be a key player for Canada under Jesse Marsch.

Sassuolo paid around €12 million to sign Koné from Marseille and now aims to capitalise, setting a starting price of €25–30 million that could increase in a bidding war. Inter and Roma are also monitoring him, and good relations between Sassuolo and Juventus could facilitate any move.

The end of the season will be decisive in determining how this interest develops.
