Edon Zhegrova has been one of Juventus' biggest disappointments this season, alongside Jonathan David and Lois Openda. Hampered by a groin strain that affected his preseason and early campaign, he made 20 appearances but started only once (against Paphos in the Champions League), registering no goals or assists and totaling 445 minutes — an average of 22 per outing.

On the ball he shows technique and flair, but effectiveness has been limited. Tactical awareness and defensive contribution have been poor; notable low points include a misplaced dribble in Juventus' 2-1 loss to Roma that led to a goal, and a missed chance in the 3-2 win over Galatasaray when Juventus were 3-0 up.

Club and coach agree he is not a player to build around, so Juventus will consider offers but aim to avoid a capital loss. Zhegrova's transfer was announced on 1 September 2025 as a €14.3 million fee payable over four years, plus €1.2 million in ancillary costs and up to €3 million in bonuses, and he is under contract until 30 June 2030.
