Kaley Cuoco’s 4-Part Thriller Vanished Is a Perfect Weekend Binge
After reinventing herself post-The Big Bang Theory with thrillers such as The Flight Attendant, Role Play and Based on a True Story, Kaley Cuoco returns in Vanished. The four-episode series premiered on February 1, 2026, on MGM+ and has climbed the streaming charts, sitting at #1 on MGM+ in the U.S., with Sam Claflin co-starring.
Vanished follows Cuoco’s archaeologist Alice Monroe, who celebrates a new professorship by traveling with her boyfriend Tom Parker (Claflin). When Tom disappears from a train in France while Alice naps, a baffled search and an unhelpful police encounter send her teaming up with a fellow passenger, investigative journalist Helen (Karin Viard).
Over four episodes the pair peel back layers of lies and danger as the series twists expectations at nearly every turn. The show was created by David Hilton and also features Matthias Schweighöfer, Simon Abkarian, Dar Zuzovsky and Olivier Sa. Critical response has been mixed.
