Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker settle divorce after custody fight
Kandi Burruss has reached a settlement in her divorce from Todd Tucker. The exes filed court paperwork declaring a final deal on March 11 and have a week to submit the full agreement, which will outline custody and support arrangements. Burruss confirmed in November that she and Tucker were divorcing after 10 years of marriage.
“After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce,” she said, adding that her focus remains on protecting her peace, being the best mother she can be, and co‑parenting with love and respect. The split grew contentious after Tucker petitioned for sole custody of their children, son Ace, 9, and daughter Blaze, 6.
Burruss initially requested joint custody but changed her request to sole custody following Tucker’s filing. In his court papers, Tucker said the children were living with him as Burruss tended to her "out-of-state work obligations" and questioned whether he had been pressured into signing the couple’s prenuptial agreement before their April 2014 wedding.
