Kate Middleton brings back her blush Gucci gown for BAFTAs 2026

The Princess of Wales returned to the British Academy Film Awards for the first time since 2023 on Sunday, walking the red carpet in a blush Gucci gown accessorized with silver drop earrings and a bracelet. She appeared in good spirits beside her husband, Prince William, who kept his head down; he wore a Giorgio Armani burgundy velvet evening jacket with black pants.

Their appearance was the couple’s first joint sighting since the arrest of William’s uncle, ex‑Prince Andrew, on Thursday. Middleton, 44, had previously worn the Gucci dress to a 2019 gala dinner for 100 Women in Finance’s Philanthropic Initiatives. She had stepped out solo the day before for the England vs Ireland Six Nations rugby match in London.

She has appeared at the BAFTAs over the years while William has served as president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts since 2010.
