Kate Middleton reflects on 'moments of fear' after cancer battle
Pagesix writes that cancer-free Kate Middleton reflected on the "moments of fear and exhaustion" she faced before entering remission, sharing an Instagram video of herself visiting with cancer patients on World Cancer Day. "On World Cancer Day, my thoughts are with everyone who is facing a cancer diagnosis, undergoing treatment or finding their way through recovery," she said in a voiceover.
"Cancer touches so many lives — not only patients, but the families and friends and caregivers who walk beside them," Middleton added, urging those impacted to remember "the importance of care, understanding and hope" and that "Please know you are not alone." Middleton announced in March 2024 that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment.
That September, the royal shared that she had finished "incredibly tough" chemotherapy treatment, and announced she was in remission four months later; at the time she returned to her royal duties and announced her new role of Joint Patron of The Royal Marsde.
