Katie Leung Says She Would Not Return to Harry Potter Filming
Bridgerton star Katie Leung says she has no interest in returning to the world of Harry Potter. Leung, who first played Cho Chang in 2005's Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, now appears as Lady Araminta Gun in Bridgerton Season 4. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Leung said, "I would not want to go back to that time.
Not because I had a bad time or anything, but it’s just really nice when you know who you are, and I’m still figuring that out, but I’m a bit closer." She recalled that Goblet of Fire was her first acting job and added, "I was so young at the time, and I was so easily influenced by what people would say about me because I didn’t know who I was.
So I’ve come into 'Bridgerton' having a really healthy focus on the work." Leung has also spoken about the negative impacts of early fame, saying in January 2026, "It was overwhelming from the get-go.
