Kayla Nicole on her split from Travis Kelce: ‘Right person, wrong time’

Kayla Nicole said she now sees her failed relationship with Travis Kelce through an “All Too Well” lens, calling it possibly the “right person, wrong time.” During a TikTok live chat with Love Island star Ace Greene, she answered when her last relationship was: “Probably, like, three years ago now.

It’s been a long time.” Asked why she and Kelce split, Nicole suggested it could have been about compatibility. “Who knows? Could be compatibility issues, right person, wrong time,” she told viewers, adding that dating in 2026 is difficult and that her new list of requirements begins with “having a job — that’s at the top of the list.” The pair officially ended their five-year on-again, off-again romance in May 2022.

Kelce has since moved on with pop star Taylor Swift; the couple became engaged last August after two years of dating. Over the course of that relationship, Nicole and Swift have traded apparent jabs — Swift with a seeming reference in her “Opalite” music video and Nicole with a 2026 Super Bowl ad for the sports app Sleeper.
