Kevin O’Leary arrived at the SAG Actor Awards 2026 wearing an autographed Michael Jordan–Kobe Bryant basketball card as a necklace, saying the “one of one” collector’s item is now worth $19.2 million. He and two others bought the card in August for $12.9 million, and O’Leary compared the purchase to buying a Picasso in 1962, saying it has “done better than crypto.” Tiffany customized the card with a diamond-encrusted frame and a matching chain.

O’Leary walked the carpet with his wife, Linda O’Leary, and said he wanted to “bring Kobe back to LA on such a big night,” noting it was the first time they had brought the piece out for a red carpet appearance. A similar, much smaller chain retails for $275,000.

The card set a record last year as the most ever paid for a sports card and became the second most expensive sports collectible of all time, behind Babe Ruth’s 1932 jersey. For the red carpet, O’Leary paired the Tiffany-mounted card with a sequined tuxedo jacket and two watches with bright red bands.
