After Princess Mononoke graced IMAX screens last March, another Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki film will appear in IMAX next month. Remastered in 4K resolution, Kiki's Delivery Service will play exclusively in IMAX theaters across the US and Canada beginning March 13 for a limited time.

Based on Eiko Kadono's 1985 novel of the same name, Kiki's Delivery Service follows the young witch Kiki as she leaves home as part of her witch training. Along with her talking cat Jiji, she lands in a new town and starts up a courier service, making new friends while the film explores adolescent loneliness and creative ruts.

The IMAX announcement comes with a new poster drawn from concept art by Kiki's animation director and Whisper of the Heart director Yoshifumi Kondo.

Tickets are on sale now; the film will be shown in IMAX for one week only and will be available in Japanese with English subtitles or dubbed in English.
