YouTube star and boxer Olajide Olatunji, known as KSI, has bought a stake in Dagenham & Redbridge and set his sights on reaching the Premier League. He revealed the move in a Tuesday afternoon social media video, saying he was excited to "start this journey" and inviting fans to Victoria Road.

The Daggers sit 13th in the National League South after relegation from the fifth tier last term, and Victoria Road holds just over 6,000. KSI boasts over 50 million followers across his platforms compared with the club’s 43,500 Instagram followers, and his estimated net worth of £80 million provides financial backing for an ambitious plan to climb the divisions.

He pointed to previous business ventures such as Prime and his entertainment profile as part of his playbook, and referenced the Wrexham model led by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as inspiration.
