Authorities conducted a late-night search of Annie Guthrie and Tommaso Cioni’s Tucson home, taking photographs and searching until about 10:30 p.m. MT. An agent was seen carrying a silver briefcase into the residence. The activity comes as the search for Nancy Guthrie enters its seventh day.

Savannah Guthrie and her siblings posted a video saying, "We received your message and we understand," and pleading, "We beg you now to return our mother to us, so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay." A former CIA officer and FBI special agent, Tracy Walder, said the message felt "contrived" and "scripted," and asked, "Is this a ransom for a dead body?

Are we paying to get a body or a human back?
