Lava Tech debuted Lollipop Star at CES 2026, a candy that uses bone conduction to play music from the mouth to the inner ear. The company billed the product with the phrase "Experience music you can taste."

ZDNET's Alison DeNisco Rayome tested a Lollipop Star at Pepcom and reported that a booth representative guided her to move the candy to the back of the mouth and bite down with her molars to start the music. The device worked, she said, though it was rather quiet even with earplugs in, and the booth was crowded throughout the event.

At launch buyers can choose from three single-use flavors and artist pairings: Blue Paradise featuring Akon's "Beautiful Day," White Peach and Strawberry featuring Ice Spice's "Munch, Baddie Baddie, Big Guy," and Lime Sea Salt featuring Armani White's "Mount Pleasant." The lollipops are sold on Lollipop Star's website for $8.99, and their single-use nature has been noted as a sustainability concern.
