New Law & Order: SVU Season 27 episode 'Fidelis ad Mortem' airs tonight

Nbc reports a new episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 27 airs tonight at 9/8c and streams the next day on Peacock. Captain Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and her squad return for the latest instalment.

Tonight’s episode — Season 27, Episode 10, titled "Fidelis ad Mortem" — follows Curry and Benson as they investigate a decades-old missing persons case after Curry’s son finds a disturbing cassette tape in a thrift store haul; Griffin also learns a disturbing rumor about his father. Season 27 has been delivering intense storylines, while the wider Law & Order franchise is also marking milestones this season.

In a September 2025 interview with L.A. Times, series creator Dick Wolf called the ride "surprising and gratifying," saying, "I woke up the other day and realized, 'My God, it’s been 35 years since the start of Law & Order.'" Hargitay has said in a 2023 interview that she loves her job and the close-knit nature of the cast and crew. New episodes continue to air Thursdays at 9/8c and are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
