The Services Conference for the Flaminio stadium has not yet begun because a document is missing. The conference may start only once the request is granted and the document verification is completed. From that moment, regulations provide a 60-day period during which other parties can submit alternative proposals, though that is considered a remote possibility given the current state of affairs.

After the 60-day window, the Conference will publish a final report, possibly declare the project to be of public interest, and forward the documents to the Capitoline Assembly. Some sceptical voices, including the vice-president of the Order of Architects, have questioned whether the process will proceed as smoothly as expected.

The final decision rests with the institutions. If the project receives the go-ahead, the agreement between Lotito's company and the Municipality of Rome would be signed, and no earlier than two to three months later the tender for the works would be launched.
