Lego has added a new color called Warm Pink to its 2026 palette, the company announced at the end of December 2025, marking what Polygon calls the first true pink Lego brick in over 30 years. Warm Pink was revealed alongside another new color, Blue Violet. Before January 2026, Lego’s official color list included only one salmon-coded pink, Bright Pink; many other pieces that look pink are internally classified under different names such as bright purple, according to Lego.

The last real pink Lego color before Warm Pink was a medium dark pink released in 1992 and available for only a single year. Fans reacted strongly to the announcement, with coverage noting widespread excitement and online celebration. Lego commentator Cheesy Studios said fans are more accustomed to color purges than additions, and one YouTube commenter summed up the sentiment: “Now I get why all my pink pieces look different.” Warm Pink appears in several upcoming adult-targeted sets that reviewers have praised, including Japanese Cherry Blossom Landscape and the Love Birds set.

Reviewers say the color choices are drawing new buyers: “I purchased this one for myself as my first adult set,” one buyer said, and another review noted the “unique bright green leaves color and the hot pink birds” adding contrast to collections. Warm Pink was announced with Blue Violet, though Blue Violet has generated less buzz.
