Lego Spring Festival Good Fortune set 42% off at Amazon

As of Jan. 13, the Lego Spring Festival Good Fortune set is on sale at Amazon for $52.60, down from the list price of $89.99 — a 42% discount that saves $37.39.

The 1,021-piece build is designed to celebrate the Spring Festival and to be educational: its objects are described as symbolic of love, good health, joy and prosperity. The set includes a fan with a customizable element offering two design options, a calligraphy pen and scroll that depict the Chinese text meaning "spring," and three golden ingots noted as a symbol of abundance.

The sale comes as Lego announced new Smart Play bricks at CES, which add sounds, lights and behaviors to builds. The first three Smart Play sets are Star Wars themed and available for preorder, according to the report.
