ZDNET's review finds the Lenovo LOQ 15AHP10 is a budget-friendly midrange gaming laptop that delivers smooth 1080p gaming, a 144Hz refresh rate and fast charging, making it suitable for both work and play. ZDNET said the model is currently available for $1,000, with prices varying by configuration.

The LOQ has a subdued, compact design with an all‑silver finish and white backlit keys. It measures 0.94 x 14.17 x 10.19 inches and weighs just over five pounds, with the included power adapter adding about two pounds. Battery life is limited — ZDNET reported about six hours with longevity settings — but the laptop supports Rapid Charge Pro; Lenovo claims a 30‑minute charge will reach 50%, and ZDNET recorded 77% in 30 minutes while the machine was powered off.

Port selection is minimal: a USB‑C, a USB‑A and a headphone jack on the right, HDMI 2.1 and an Ethernet port at the rear, and an otherwise bare left side. ZDNET praised the full‑size keyboard and comfortable key feel, but noted the 15‑inch 16:9 display has thick bezels. The 1080p panel at 144Hz helps gameplay run smoothly, though ZDNET said the resolution limits suitability for creative work and 4K footage.

ZDNET's review unit had an AMD Ryzen 7 2500, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 and 32GB of RAM; in real‑world testing it ran multiple AAA titles (Monster Hunter Wilds, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Arc Raiders) without major slowdowns and handled everyday productivity and light programming tasks well.
